Traditional Chinese Medicine Student Clinic

Kootenay Columbia College’s Student Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic has been open for more than 20 years.

At our Chinese medicine Student Clinic, patients are treated by students in their final year of study in the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine,

Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Acupuncturist or Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalist programs. Treatments include acupuncture, Chinese medicinal herbs, cupping, tui-na massage and moxa, as required. In addition 2nd and 3rd year students offer tui-na massage clinics once a week. All students practice under the supervision of a licenced Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner or Doctor.

Fees

Appointments cost $22-$42, and bulk passes (6th visit is free!) are available.

What to expect?

A treatment from professionally trained TCM students enrolled in the only Traditional Chinese Medicine Programs in the

Kootenays, supervised by experienced, BC-licensed TCM practitioners. Please note, this is a student training clinic and TCM supervisors may quietly enter the room during any aspect of your treatment to oversee client care and act as a resource for student learning.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first scheduled appointment to complete your confidential health history form.

We require 24 hours notice to cancel appointments. Failure to cancel (excluding emergencies), will result in the full fee.
