Responsibilities:

  • Course Instruction:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures and practical demonstrations to undergraduate students pursuing diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Registered Massage Therapy.

  • Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with the academic team to design and update the curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry advancements and academic standards.

  • Student Mentorship:

Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Assessment and Grading:

Evaluate students’ performance, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their academic growth.

  • Research and Innovation:

Conduct research and stay updated with advancements in the field of biomedical sciences, integrating relevant findings into the curriculum and sharing your expertise with colleagues and students.

  • Professional Development:

Pursue continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teaching techniques, subject matter expertise, and educational methodologies.

  • Departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate with fellow faculty members, participate in departmental meetings, and engage in interdisciplinary projects to enrich the academic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

Master Degree in Biomedical Sciences or MD/IMG or a closely related field is required.

  • Teaching Experience:

Previous experience in teaching at the college level, delivering lectures and guiding students is required.

  • Industry Experience:

Prior experience or professional exposure in the biomedical field, such as research, clinical practice, or industry, will be highly valued.

  • Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

  • Passion for Education:

Demonstrated passion for teaching, student mentorship, and fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and administration to contribute to the success of the institution’s academic goals.
