Columbia College invites you to discover the transformative power of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) through a personalized tour of our campus.

With a history spanning thousands of years, TCM is built on the concept of Qi, a vital life
force flowing through the body. Imbalances in Qi can lead to disease and illness. TCM
offers a holistic approach to restoring balance through Acupuncture, Moxibustion,
Cupping, Massage, Herbal Remedies, and Movement exercises such as Tai Chi.
Discover how you can make a difference in people’s lives by becoming an
acupuncturist, herbal specialist, practitioner, or Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The Canadian Occupational Projection System forecasts significant growth in the TCM
industry over the next decade, creating a strong demand for our graduates.

Our Traditional Chinese Medicine programs offer a variety of pathways to suit your
career aspirations. “You can start your journey as an Acupuncturist in just three years or
become a Doctor of TCM in five years, with ample opportunities for career growth along
the way,” says SK Holma, Dean of Kootenay Columbia College.
