Kootenay Columbia College (KCC) is a well-established post-secondary College since 1996. The College is also a designated institute through the BC Student Assistance Program (Student Aid BC), and all diploma programs offered at KCC qualify for funding options.
Students can learn in person at our Nelson campuses or through online sessions from the comfort of their homes. We also offer blended delivery options for some programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our students. Ask us which programs have these options.
At KCC, we focus on hands-on skills. In addition to traditional academics, students enrolled in our programs benefit from exposure to guest lectures, informal discussions, observation of licensed practitioners, and much more.
Small class sizes and an inspiring and highly qualified teaching faculty ensure our students get the most out of their education at KCC. We provide students with the one-on-one support they need to thrive by offering more intimate classroom sizes so that nobody falls behind.
Members of the public can book treatment with students in practicum at KCC. We offer Massage treatments and Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy sessions. The priority of our student clinics is to enhance our student’s education and provide real-world experience.
Our mission is to fully prepare students to take on the challenges they’ll encounter in the industry. Working in state-of-the-art student clinics at KCC, our students learn hands-on techniques that can help them jump-start their future careers.
KCC is a well-established, government-accredited school with over 20 years of Private Training Institutes (PTIB) accreditation. This standing means that our programs, instructors, and facilities are government-approved and regulated and our students are eligible for student loans.
