The KCCIHS Registered Massage Therapy Program is a stand-alone program that will prepare candidates to write their licensing examinations with the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC).

The RMT program, is a 22.5 month program with preliminary accreditation from CMTBC. This intensive program runs over 6 semesters (90 weeks). Students enrolling in the massage program will receive comprehensive instruction not only in Massage Therapy, but in Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Orthopaedics, Professional Development and Self-care. Students will receive practical training, over 550 hours, through both our  public student clinics and planned in-reach and out reach clinics.

Our RMT program will provide a unique educational experience in registered massage therapy training. Our exceptional faculty will share their knowledge and clinical expertise. We will provide a wide range of clinical internship opportunities and learners will be immersed in transformational activities through classroom experiences, mentorship, and connecting with nature and the community.

Unique components of our program include the integration of Peace Studies into our Professional Development and Ethics courses, as well as innovative Self-care courses that are designed to connect students to the local community and allow them to learn through movement.
